The system in the Blazer is wild! But yours is by far the most impressive looking. I respect the time put into it but that Escalde is ******* ugly!

97' Z28 show project 05-14-2006 02:48 PM

not a big fan of the escalade its really nice and has a lot of work in it but its too much blue for me

paarman97maro 05-14-2006 03:13 PM

def congrats man.. winning an spl show is awesome..

just out of curiosity...

what class were you in in the spl competition? who were some of the other top competitors?

cause im in the lowest class in our local shows.. in the 0"-20" of woffer class.. there is a 21"-40" and a 40+" class as well.. and i did a 140.1 in the lowest class and got crushed.. other guys doing a 153.somethin

it was ridiculous

2000v6cam 05-15-2006 03:37 AM

Str8upChevy 05-15-2006 05:08 AM

That's Friggin Kickazz Mike!! The system in that Blazer sure "Looks" impressive, and I'm sure it probably is,.......but obviously not enough. "Congratulations Bro"......your system is simply Bad-A$$ ~

Man, I've seriously been thinking about porting my box. I love how hard it hits right now, but I know if I were to port it, I'd get so much more volume out of it. :(

97z2801ss 05-15-2006 10:48 AM

nice man, only 4 vehicles???
and grant that escalade is fugly

You went to a wierd *** comp to me. Comp classes are bassed off of how many watts you run at 4ohms stable continuous. It goes in this order: 0-600 watts then 601-1200 and 1201+ at most rated comps. Judging by the scores i would say it wasnt a turn lab slp meter it was the old style. On those meters my car hits 153 easy about 10db more then a turn lab. I run in the 601-1200 class that is what is chocked on the window at the top. I have never been to a comp that did by woffer size thats new to me. Correct me if im wrong Arch :D Out of about a hundred cars on this turn lab only one hit harder then me and it was in a diff class and he only bet me by 2 db

No clue its an 8 cubic foot custom sub inclosure with mdf and fiberglass then a custom amp rack with mdf and fiberglass 3 sets of wires ran a 5 farad compasador 3 amps new components and then those subs are close to 40 lbs a piece id say probably a few hundred pounds but then again i took out my back seats spare tire jack and all that stuff that would normaly be in the back of a car
