A speaker question
I was planning on swapping out the stock rear seat speakers and I was wondering if these kenwood speakers would be alright.
Kenwood KFC-C1739ie I would post the URL to them but it says I need five posts to do that. On crutchfield they're listed as 16-3/4" but I checked Kenwood and there it says that they are 17". Would these speakers sound good, I just want good sound but nothing too strong. Also, would it be a direct swap, or would I have to change the wires or something? |
they can be made to work I believe they have mounting holes for the 6.5" opening. Kenwood says 7" because it sounds better in marketing (most 6.5s are only 6.25's)

Ahh ok thanks. Would i just have to cut the wires and stick them in with a connector? Also does anyone know about the sound quality of these speakers?

they are a decent speaker, you can just cut the end off, or I believe crutchfield has an adapter for the speakers too (I could be wrong though) that they can send for free if you buy the speakers from them

do you plan on running a sub.... because you wont hear them in the car they are just for mid range bass w/o a sub
