sub box?

okay, so i bought 2 12" infinity subs today (buy one get one free and matt's getting the other) and i am planning on building a box for the one. I have 2 questions. 1 sealed or vented/ported box. 2 what is a baffle in a sub box. I have the access to all of the tools and have some woodworking experiance, but i need to know the design. thanks

what does the sub specs say, they should say wich is recomended, many subs today can do sealed, or vented but not both

really im not sure, i will look tonight cause im at school, i just know it said a volume of 2 cubic feet

2 cu ft for 2 is probably going to be ported (2 12's in a sealed box is usually around 1.75 cu ft or so)

it says 2 cu feet for one, it comes with performance graphs for a sealed box, and parameters for both a sealed and a ported boxes.

then do sealed, 2 cu ft is huge though for 1 sub
