Sub Box
Does anyone have the dimension for a custom box that fits where the t-tops go? Also wondering how hard it is to make that one cause I've done a regular box before just wanted something more custom.
Arre you talking making a box that will still allow you to use your T-Tops or one that wil cover the whole trunk area?
subthump.com :D
I want one that will cover the whole are...I don't care about covering up the t-top holder at all.
I like the subthump ones but I think I'm gonna try to do a custom one that has a plexi glass top on it and the subs sit down lower. I guess we'll see how it looks after I get the plans done.

that sounds like itll be tight, post pics if u do the plexiglass thing...a guy that works at circuit city told me they have boxes to fit in that area, cuz he seen how i have my box all stickin out and stuff cuz its too big for that space..i took the t-top holders out and took a hammer and beat the sides a little bit just enough so my box would fit in there...so i think now im gonna go to circuit city and buy the RIGHT box..i dont know the dimensions though

mmm.. build ur own ;)

circuit city is stupid. they sell the q-logic box and they overcharge like a *****. the q-logic box is very stupid IMO. also it wont work with the t-top holders. heres some pics:
q-logic: http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...759_7_full.jpg subthumb: http://subthump.com/images/camaro/well/eclipse3.jpg then if you have t-tops: http://subthump.com/images/camaro/ttop/ttopbox01.jpg but your best bet if you had t-tops: http://subthump.com/images/camaro/stealth/rascal1.jpg |
hmm...i dont know why that q-logic pic isnt working...
works fine for me.
:) I like my stereo, just as a 1-up, I like the Q-Logic box, it's worked fine for me.
I built this one... not too difficult... I might still have it somewhere

q logic boxes are junk, low density particle board (aka chipboard) too much air space for most speakers (that way they won't damage a speaker like a box that's too small)
