glass is easy if you just remeber one thing don't screw with it once it's down

it looks fairly simple just time consuming. my dad said hesdone it on an old boat and it was really easy. if you do it out of wood, how would u go about building it? do you need to build a frame out of like 2x2 first? and can you use regular sheets of plywood?

i'm going to use some 1/4 inch and simply going to make...uh...6 sides. then nail and glue em together. what i'm using has one side smoothed out so i can paint that side to match the interior panels better. carpet looks dumb in the location i'm using.

It all depends on where u want to put it. My current one just sits on top, but i'm gonna do a custom one in the well with plexiglass top and leds shining on it. Sometimes it easier to just buy one for the well unless you want something custom in there like me. :D

here's my current setup: http://www.brycerhine.com/1280/Sound.html

3/4 inch is what should be used if doing wood, if doing glass build a frame and cover with cloth (I use long underwear material for my first layer) apply resin, apply mat and resin to get a good thickness then use bondo for final shape paint or cover
