Subs Cutting out, randomly

I have for an amp.. Exile S400.4 with a single MTX TC512 Sub

I have the sub wired bridged @ 4ohm. Same way i have had for years.

Sub will pound hard, metal, rap, techno, w.e

But will randomly cut out, can last for 30 seconds, or will last for 3 hours. It is intermittent. Ground has been cleaned and re-stripped. Power has new batter ( had to earlier in the year ) and thats all brand new setup. Inline fuse is within 10inches from battery and clean rings and terminals. All crimps are good. Back of headunit, rca and remote is secure. Remote running to trunk is good, although was short for some reason, and i added another cable by just twisting the ends together to reach the amp spot All cables are hooked up right. RCA Cables seem to be a little wiggly but dont seem to be losing contact.

Does this random cut out, is it a bad solder in the amp on the input somewhere, because when it cuts out, it not losing power but going into protective mode

Hope you can help, got 3 hours drive ahead and i want no interruptions :D

p.s

Merry Christmas

Take it to a shop, have them send it out for testing / repair. If you have checked the wiring and all is in the clear, something is cooked.
