whats up guys...and gals? I have been working on my system for a while and once i got everything together i blew my last friggin sub! My alpine head unit is like really old the dash speakers suck and my amp is retarded. I am looking into redoing my entire system and need suggestions. I can probly get this really nice pioneer head unit from my dad for like 50 bucks that has all the displays and stuff. anyway let me know what you think i should get. I want bass loud enough to where its not legal and i want the rest of my speakers to keep up. help me out!!

Personally I like Alpine stuff, so I'd say get all new Alpine stuff. Get a digital amp and a 12 inch Type R, or if you want crazy power get a Type X. Not sure how small your trunk is though and not too sure how loud you want to go.

go with soemthing not like alpine or pioneer for speakers. they make fine head units but go with something along the lines of Infinity or Polk. for subs and amps check out this place.

i got a pioneer head unit from my dad thats only a year old and has all these cool displays and graphics on it. I am probably going to get infinity dash speakers and keep my pioneer 6.5's but i decided i want to put 6x9's where the back seats were. Any suggestions for 6x9's? I need more suggestions for subs and an amp.

I am bidding on this Infinity 12". I get a free box with it too. If i win it I will keep my 600 W amp for a while and when i get another 12 ill get a better amp.
