What is it you look for.

Ok guys.... I've been asked to help liven the place up. I'll start posting pictures of my own competition vehicle in a few weeks once it gets out of storage. In the mean time I've got some questions.

The rest of this site is obviously geared towards people who are more interested in the performance of their rides rather than having killer audio. This usually ends up in some sort of compromise between performance, cost, and weight.

So what is it you guys look for? What brands are you most interested in?

Do any of you guys use any of the lesser known brands like Digital Designs, Resonant Engineering, or Elemental Designs? (I could go on and on with the list, but if you know those names, you get the idea)

Most of the brands I use are not very well known because they're made to take serious abuse (read: weigh a ton) and are usually out of the price range of the average consumer.

So yeah.. let me know a bit about your systems and what sort of gear you use!

In exchange I'll keep you guys posted about audio shows in the GTA. I'm hoping you guys will attend! (some are even free!) :fing02:

WEll, me personally. After seeing what Kicker squares can do ive been sold on them. But i know on another certain site alot of members are into DD's, id like to see what they can do.

As for setup, i want clarity, nice mids and highs but the ability to crank the bass... do they even still use epicenters?

Yeah... people still use epicenters. A well designed system is a better way to go though.

Funny that you said you wanted clarity but you're interested in Kicker squares. As good as the kickers are, they aren't known for their clarity.

If/when you're ready to go with the DD, just let me know. :fing02:
