where to buy sound deadening

no, this isn't a "which one to get" thread...

I've narrowed down my choice of sound deadener (in order of preference) to: ss damplifier, b-quiet ultimate and dynamat xtreme. now the question is, where should i buy the stuff?

I've looked around and i can't find a place in canada that caries damplifier. as for b-quiet, does anyone know a better/cheaper place than their website? for dynamat xtreme, well, if you have a hookup at futureshop/bestbuy that is willing to get me a discount in return for a few extra bucks let me know.

sound mats

you can order from the b-quiet website. Which is allot cheaper than the dynomat Xtreme.

i got brownbread in my car, works like a charm and didnt hurt the bank.

I am pretty sure you can buy dynamat extreme at Future Shop and Best Buy now

Check out that b-quiet site, thats what I got. 125$ for 100sq feet, cant go wrong. Then again if your pushing 2 t2's then you might need something a bit thicker. What are you running?

I ended up buying from b-quiet. It's very good stuff... i got some decoupler too. two layers on the doors and floor.. and going to finish up the trunk and firewall this summer. considering how loud my exhaust is, this stuff really helps a lot.

dude my buddy works at bestbuy in woodbridge, his name is andrew, he works there like everyday so stop by there and ask him to get you a discount if you'd like.

why would he be joking? A bulk pack weighs around 25 lbs

if you are so worried about weight y would u have a system to begin with? Dont the sub, box and amp weigh more than the dynomat.

Not being a prick. But just saying.

This is true, but understand that an amp and sub can easily be removed from a car (suppose you track your car AND drive it around as well)
Sound deadening will be unremovable weight on the car.

Ebay man! I got the bulk pack (9 sheets) for $130 at my door

thatkidhugo 04-07-2008 11:27 PM

just did my trunk with 5 sheets of dynamat extreme.. made a big difference but wasnt quite enough

so i ordered 50 sq ft of b-quite extreme to finish of small spots in the trunk, doors, and my roof.
