most people pay about 3 times too much for car audio,
since i didnt, ill pass the savings on to you.

both of the above amps work perfectly(they have 1 month of use),but since its electronics it doesnt matter how much its been used, it doesnt directly affect longevity, for those who wish to argue, bring it on.(worked in a car audio environment for 5 years and had to deal with all kinds of warranties)

SPKS
rockford FRC 4225 (5 1/4), $40 (new)

CHGR
Poineer CDX-P1220S, 12 disc changer, its like 3 years old, want $20.

SUBS
2 Comp VR's, they were used with the 400.1, $50 each.

All the pricing is firm, it is priced fairly.

i can look around and see if i can find a 1000w amp for cheap, what subs are you powering?what kinda car? what deck?

it will be running 2 10" rockford fosgate Hx2's in a mazda rx8 and the deck is a factory bose deck which i cant do anything with because of the way its built into the car..

the 400.1 should be fine, in that car. If it was a larger vehicle, i wouldnt recommend it, but you'll get jam out of that car due to its design/size.a 1000W amp would be better, but with HX2's bass is dirty and will get annoying after a while, especially if you listen to the radio or dance music.

the 400 does 400x2ohm.. but what does the 600.4 do.. i read it does 150x4@2ohm.. but what about 4 ohm.. since most car speakers arnt 2ohm.

then it does 75X4@4ohm..for better sound quality.
