98+ Foglight bulbs BLK Halos?
I need some of your suggestions and opinions. My left fog light went out today and it looks crappy now i cant use them so there off, I dont get paid until friday but its going to be a fatty :p anyways I was wondering if there is a good aftermarket blue bulb or maybe even a link the the HID setup, maybe even for the headlight also please and your opinion of the item. Im also playing with the idea of wanted to buy some black Halos and see how it would look, your opinion on that to please. thanks

blue bulbs have a much dimmer light than factory (they just use tinted glass) in a mopar magazine I just got they found the silverstars had a 15% dimmer light than stock sealed beams at full voltage (that's the old glass type, and they used relays to get the voltage up) check your voltage at the bulb, if it's not the same or close to what it is at the battery with the engine running you can get alot more light upgrading wiring

The light from my silverstars doesn't really seem brighter, the light just seems to go further out.

I think the halo's would look good on your car.

well the HID or Xenon fog light bulbs are just what arch said...blue tinted glass. looked as white as stock when lit.
and my opinion on halos...they dont match the 98-02 camaro hoods, so i dont like them. |
Halos no doubt they would look bad *** with the scheme you got goin on your ss

ive heard of people who sell kits to make your headlights to a 98+ camaros actual HID. Uses 9000k bulbs ect ect. is it possible to convert Halos HID? As for the foglights im just going to buy some blue tinted bulbs that way it will match what im trying to do with my headlights.. The reason i want my headlights HID is cause I love the way they look on bmw's, caddys, g35's they look sooo sweeet.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/9006-...spagenameZWDVW this is the HID conversion kit. |
those are not HID those are just the cheap cool blue ge bulbs with relays to get a bit extra voltage
