Aftermarket Steering wheel...
Ok, this was a cake job on my 88' but i sem to be getting conflicting stories with 4th gens. I know for a fact i will need an adapter for it but some sites say you cant change it on an airbag model, some say you can. Anyone ever change the steering wheel on a 4th gen and did you have any probs with the air bag?

Those look kool...

You will need a resistor to fool the computer into thinking the air bag is installed. If not the computer will not allow the engine to start. BTW the 1st steering wheek looks great.
|
I think the third one would look good on your car. My personal fav is the last one. Just a resister and a install kit is all that is needed.
|
How and where would you go about installing the resistor?
|
I'm also wondering the same thing!! Need a writeup with pics ;)!
This is the one I have my eyes on... Looks similar to your first one you wanted. http://www.auctionpicturesupport.com/ebay2/mk1-s3-a.jpg Go here for purchasing... Rob |
I take it thats MOMO...i like your setup with all the MOMO stuff...
|
I think the second one would look the best with the 'theme' but I like the first one the best out of them all.
