since everyone is getting sick of the ZR1s, and i am too, and since i've always wanted custom wheels rather than stock wheels, this might be the perfect solution...and the good news, i just got new tires, 245/45R17, which is actually more suitable for these 8" wide wheels rather than my current 9.5" wide wheels...no more scraping the wheels, the tires take the hit.

i figure i can buy some salad shooters with tires for about 100 bucks, then slap them on and sell my zr1s and buy these. so...first off do you guys like this idea and if so, what can i get for four ZR1 wheels? one has a small chip in the lip, two others have scrape marks on the inside from my dam calipers :mad:.

I have not been a fan of the ZR1s either. Everyone says that Z06s are used alot on Camaros but I have see ZR1s used alot more..

hmph now that everyone is going on about how they don't like Zr1's I'm thinking I shouldn't get them... :(

I like those 2 wheels shown in the above posts.. i love the Y2K's .. have someone photoshop each of the wheels on your car and pick out what you like best

i actually like my ZR1s. these 185s are cool, but i dont know, somthin about the ZR1s. they've grown on me i guess.

If I wouldn't have bought these Y2Ks for my '96, then I probably would have gotten the 185s for it instead. I thought they looked great on your car in that photochop.......but, they're your wheels. :D

me personally i like y2k's for the 93-97 style. i think the z06 look better on the 98+ 4th gen. the c6 and c6r's don't look bad for the early 4th gen. either, i just like corvette wheels. i guess you may be burned out on zr1's and also since a lot of people put them on their camaro.

yeah you'd think i'd be burned out by the ZR1s, but they've actually grown on me so much, that they make carmen who she is, so any other wheels doesnt look right.

well, if you feel that way, you should keep them on her.

those eagles are too common on maros...almost as common as ZR1s.

they are getting common, but not that common yet... but I don't really care for them either....


But like I said, since you like yours so much (and that is what counts) stick with them. Don't change....think about what you said to me about my wheels... Your wheels are your car... it would change something if you changed them, y'know?

the 185s look better than those IMO....

these ones almost look exactly like mine except my spokes were a little longer and more pointed towards the end....but still, very similar...

Oh, yea, I really don't like the 077s. They look ok in pictures, but in person they don't look that great.....although I must say that they look pretty good on Mustangs, kinda Saleenish.
