Engine Head Gasket

Hello all. The other day my girlfriend took the car and told me it was sounding not so right. About 10 minuts later she called me and told me it stalled. So I went up to her, went to start it but it doesnt start, when i opened the hood and went to start it i see what looks like antifreeze coming out about half way down the engine. A friend told me that the head gasket is blown. My question is, do i have to buy just the gasket, or the full gasket set? Im not sure if the head is cracked, I hope its not, but if it is i will prob scrap the car because this is now the second engine we went through. Also any advice as to a step by step to fix this gasket would be apprecited, thanks so much!!
the car is a
1995 Pontiac Sunfire
2.2 engine (original not twin cam)

We are going to attempt to fix it this weekend, i just need to know what to buy, and possible somewhat how to do it!!!lol
thanks all

Norm

hmm. headgasket is a pretty big job, if you never did it before then I dont suggest doing it on your own.

you have to take off your head
