EuroLights Installed

45 Attachment(s)
I finally spent the 10 minutes it takes to swap out my new Eurolights, and I love what the drivers side looks like. They both look pretty cool when they're off,....but when I turn them on, the drivers side is really blue and the pass. side is mostly white. There must be something wrong with the bulb, cause everything was exactly the same going in. :ne_nau:

I turned them on a little while ago and took some pictures in the dark which clearly shows what I'm talking about. Not sure what I'm gonna do at this point, I hate the thought of spending another 20-30 bucks for another set of bulbs, after shelling out the $80.00 it cost for this Kit.

Can you guys tell by looking at the lights on the wall that the drivers side is much more blue? And even the straight on shots of it, there's a blue glare on that side. It's kind of weird how it's like that. I walked down the road a ways to see what the oncoming traffic would see, and it's the same thing......drivers side blue, passengers side, barely a blue tint.

looks good the only thing i could think of is that they sent you to different bulbs...

Well, they are the same bulbs....I'm just thinking maybe the bulb on the pass. side is a defect or something. It doesn't matter which angle I look at it from, the blue glare you get from the drivers side just doesn't show on that side.

I just happen to be one of those real maticulous(SP) people how hates when things aren't the same on both sides......besides that, I've seen oncoming cars that only the drivers side headlight is colored and it looks like Poo-Poo.:lolsign:

I sent EuroLights an email (with pictures) asking them what could be done in a situation like this, so hopefully they work with me on this. Their website say's: We're not satisfied until you are", so maybe they'll just send me another bulb.

I am thinking about getting that conversion myself. Keep us posted on what Eurolights do for you. If they are not willing to help you out, let us know. Other than the color difference, did you have any other problems with the kit?

It was absolutely the easiest mod I've ever done. Everything is exactly as described and I would recommend them to anyone who likes the newer looking lights. This bulb thing is nothing really.....though it will be nice if the shoot me another bulb.

I think after putting them in and realizing just how easy it is to swap out bulbs now,.....I probably would have paid the $78.00 just for the inter-changable housings. I'm thinking about buying several different color sets of bulbs just because of how easy they are to change, and that I like more than just blue all the time.:)

Well,....here's a response to your question. I emailed Eurolights about this situation, and they sent me a return email apologizing for the inconvenience, and letting me know that they were sending me a new bulb. They truly stick by their slogan which says: "We're not Satisfied until you are"!

So if you had any reservations about getting this Conversion kit from them, I wouldn't hesitate a bit. I'm sure you noticed in the 2nd picture I posted, that the old ones were all siliconed in......man, talk about a pain in the a$$ every time you want to change bulbs, or if you keep the stock ones.....it's $25.00 a pop when a bulb burns out.

I will "Definitely" Recommend this Conversion Kit to everyone I know that has a 93-97 Camaro. I haven't even mentioned the fact that the visual aspect of these lights is amazing from inside your car looking out. I seriously doubt I'll ever have to use my high beams again they work so well. And they're not as bright as HID's, so people don't flash you for thinking your brights are on. Well, now I need to get some colored bulbs for my foglights......I seen one car that had blue headlights and yellow foglights that looked pretty good.

I'm not sure where they got 'em, but I seen one car that had really blue lights.....and they weren't those dim looking blue, they were like Pure Blue and very bright.
