Fiske Wheels *Poll*

Should I get a set of Fiske FM5s for my car? I found a set for 2k with tires and while that price is a little high for me I do really like those wheels. Here's a pic of the Fiske wheels http://community.webshots.com/photo/...37123956GvtwXH What does everyone think?

Im thinkin keep the rims you have.. 2k Is alot of money on rims that don't look all that special.. Just keep the C5's IMO!

I like the wheels they look good but they are also two grand I like the vette wheels you got

NoRiceInside 12-13-2004 10:51 AM

the offset is too deep, you hardly see the rims. i saw keep the vette wheels.

Mike Jones 12-13-2004 10:58 AM

FM5's

1BADVETTE 12-13-2004 11:34 AM

Those are the one wheels I hate more than any, and it's Fikse :) Keep your 2 grand and drop a cam in your car. That'd be alot better, since you already have wheels. If you GOTTA get new wheels, go with some Makaveli Ermosa's or Maselini's or some HRE 547's or maybe some CCW 505A's, but not those.

Way too much for those. Keep what ya got.

yea keep the chrome, but them fm5's are awesome... 2gs can be put elseware

NCamaro94 12-13-2004 04:56 PM

how about get some upgraded c5 wheels like the y2k i might do that if i don't do the c6r.

1BADZ 12-13-2004 06:04 PM

I'm sure he's talking about install and all the associated mods (push rods, valve springs, etc...) as well.

NoRiceInside 12-13-2004 06:28 PM

oh ok cuz i'm installing mine myself and its not more than $500 for a cam and entirely new valvetrain junk and then new timing set, head bolts, gaskets, etc.

your right, $550 for install here, plus rods and springs, then tuning, which is $350 + $150/hour on the dyno, plus the cam itself, which is another $300.

NoRiceInside 12-13-2004 07:54 PM

300 for a cam. still too high. i'm gettin an edelbrock cam and lifter package for 130!
