Follow through

Ok...i have been wondering whether or not to follow through with my photoshop in my sig, from the before and after pic...i really like the way it looks...myself but im debating on whether or not to get new rims after i buy the 5 spokes...or to just keep those ones...and do what i planned on from the start...im not sure how a camaro on 16's would look lowered...your opinion please...

Amurican_Muscle 04-20-2006 02:23 PM

Never seen a lowered camaro with 16's ... But I can imagine that 17's or 18's would look much better. :)

i like the lowered with 16s thing. theres this z28 in town...medium patriotic red, that moroon color...he has salad shooters and its dropped 2". i like it for some reason...

i think it would look pretty cool... as long as the wheels don't go crooked. lol jk

paarman97maro 04-20-2006 03:47 PM

I think it would look fine.

Amurican_Muscle 04-20-2006 03:48 PM

You could always just go for it and then if you get a bunch of money laying around later then buy some bigger rims. :D

Str8upChevy 04-20-2006 04:10 PM

Yep, I agree. Don't let the size of your wheels stop you from lowering your car. Lowered with 16's won't look that bad, and as already mentioned......you can always through the bigger rims on it later. ;)

V6Cam 04-20-2006 10:15 PM

yeah true...on the bigger rims later on part...so i think i will follow through with my plan then

as long as you get an alignment afterwards it should be fine. expect to pay a bit more for an alightment on fbodies though. i did one last week on a 94 v6. to adjust front caster/camber you need a special tool. i guess an alignment shop would have it so you might not need to pay more, but big o tires doesnt normally have it :)

2000v6cam 04-21-2006 05:25 AM

i dont think it would look that bad, just remember to get it all aligned cause it looks horrible when the camber or caster is off

V6Cam 04-21-2006 10:05 AM

i know how alignments are...i have done a couple, i used to go to school for Auto Mechanics, but i need to get an alignment first right after rims bc my front right camber is so off its ruined my front tire...
