wow 3 months is a long time to wait!

98CamaroZ28 03-27-2007 09:43 PM

does this go on your stock spoiler or is it a ful replacement?

-Freak- 03-27-2007 11:10 PM

I waited because i'm tired of the SS spoiler look and don't care for any of the other spoilers out there. It also gives it a slight retro look since 1st and 2nd gens had a spoiler that looked similar, just on a smaller scale.

It bolts to the stock z28 spoiler.

Same spoiler Para, PC and a few others have.

Going to paint it black to tie my berger in with my mirrors and hard top. Then when i get enough $$ I'm getting a seamless Sonoco hood with black stripes on the side of the cowl.

That should just about complete my appearance mods. I need rims and tires but i can't find anything within a reasonable price that i like.

Welcome to the freedom design spoiler club...

-Freak- 03-28-2007 11:35 AM

Thank man.

How much of a ***** is it to mount?

paarman97maro 03-28-2007 12:24 PM

I took mine to a friend. Seems like a PITA honestly... but I ended up having to screw the rest of it down... It takes 6 bolts, I didnt use any of the foam or any of that **** that came with it, just the bolts. Id look into having whoever paints it mount it on there.

-Freak- 03-29-2007 07:33 PM

TAA DAAA.. Now i just have to save up and get it painted and mounted.

It DEFINITELY needs the Sonoco hood now.

What do you guys think, black or body color? I'm really swayed towards black

I say paint it body color.

paarman97maro 03-29-2007 11:42 PM

hard toss up.. i guess either would look alright

SOMBirdV6 03-29-2007 11:51 PM

I say paint it, Also...next should be rims and a drop before you do a hood.

ITSA6 03-30-2007 12:24 AM

body color doesn't look right if it was black in my opinion
