headlight bulb swap
okay after searching for an hour i have learned that firebird owners arent as creative as camaro owners...
on my past two camaros (both 95s with sealed beam lights) when i needed to swap bulbs i just yanked the old bulb out and siliconed either a 9006 or 9005 bulb into the old housing. works great for me. but apparently, you cant do that on a bird. everyone says, no you gotta buy the whole housing. thats ********. whats the number of the bulb in the housing of the 93-97 firebird headlights? i know its a dual element bulb (high and low in one), but which of the Hx or 900x series bulbs will work? |
i dont know **** about the Hx series bulbs.. but if its a 900x series then it has to be the 9007 if it is dual filament..

well apparently...everyone was right. it was a true sealed beam. the bulb was soldered to the housing. its okay only 10 bucks a housing.
