How to get wax off window moulding
ok, so i just waxed my car.
Got wax on some spots of the black moulding around windows, in between roof and doors, like the black plastic parts. How do you get that off???? its brutal; so hard. i was scrubbing for an hour and got some of it off only. Any help from the detailers??? thanks! |
Isopropyl. 50/50 which is rubbing alcohol. Dillute it down 1:1 with distilled water and you shouldn't have a problem removing it.

From what I heard from a friend, you could use any Maguair tire cleaner products which I've tried and only works temporarily...but I'll try that rubbing alcohol solution.

I have worked for a mold restoration company for 2 years. Any drywall or carpeting that has mold has to be ripped out. If they try to tell you paint will fix it it won't. The other side of the drywall will probably have mushrooms growing on it. And the owner of the property can't say no because you have pictures and there are children involved.
thanks for your help nick, cheers |
orson.octavius is some ****** spammer who i just reported, hopefully they will cut off his nuts.
Anyhow, there is molding restoration crap at Canadian Tire. I have used it before, it really reminds me of Armor All really. I used it to get rid of the white smudges of car wax. |
