Ok so Ive been working on a photoshop lately from the interior/exterior on what I would like my camaro to look like one day..

Even though I have a son on the way, I wont have anymoney to do drastic changes so it will be year(s) long project but still plan to do the modding some day.. So i figure I show you guys and hear some opinions

And here is the exterior.. changes you can see are rims,freedom design spoiler,GFX,hood,stripes on the side..I painted the mirros and the lil black(headlight corners thing) to match the color of the car

Reasons I chose each

Rims- I think the rims would really set the car off, I always loved multispoked rims on 4th gens and I think it would just compliment the car.

Spoiler- I love dick harrell camaros. If I could I would own one one. Everything about it is just sexy. Sure it flows with 98+ camaros more but I still love it.

GFX- I just painted black GFX on there, dont know exactly what type I would like yet but I know I would want some instead of just lowing the car

Hood- I dont see many camaros with this type of hood. I like the stock hood, and cowl hood and this is just perfect for me. I would of put an SS hood on there but I love this one way more and its not to common ( I dont think)...I would like to do something else with the hood( like how my stripes are now but not exactly the 35th ann. stripes), but dont know what kind of stripe design I would like.. Most likely I think it would look best just the way it is .

side Stripes- I seen a couple camaros like this.. I have a lil Police 4th gen camaro with this kind of design on it, but it runs all the way to the spoiler and back around the other side so thats what I like about it.


All the colors on the photoshop is what I would like for it to be gfx-black ,stripes-black, spoiler-black


This is NOT my best photoshop, im pretty good at it but things werent just clicking the way I would of hoped for it to come out so work with me here. Was kind of hard for me to remove the stripes and get the colors to match up . Color is way off so use your imagination :)

I will post up the inteior plans another day. I have it on my comptuer @ home and have no internet access so once I transfer it to this computer I will show that plan also :)

Its not a bad combination with the 2 inch VFN hood, and the freedom design spoiler, that wat i was going to do when i had mine, instead i purchased a mid-rise, but thats besides the point, what size rims are you going to go with? Im not a fan of that stripe just stopping right behind the turn signal, but im not a big fan of stripes on the side period.

The rims I would like to be 18 in the back 17's front

not too bad, the stripe almost looks like Chads

that stripe would look like Danielles.. (camaro94)

guess it would, but the one I thought of first was Chad

yea its similar to the dickharrell lil stripe design

the one on the lil diecast just stops @ the front but isnt "pointy" its faily blocky..

Would it sorta be like camaro94s ?

well kind of like that but the stripe is much more thicker

I dont want the same design then..well I still want it but instead of it dipping down ill just have it go straight across....

I would have it match the dick harrell design but I dont like the way it looks, to skinny

accidently skinnied out the stripe leading to the front (notice how thick it is in the back) but was to lazy to change it lol

I would make the front of that stripe taper down to a point it would flow with your hood much better.

I like the hood, I had the VFN 4" cowl induction hood on my '94 Camaro.

not a bad choice. but honestly it doesn't look to horrible now

I'm getting that hood as well, along with an LT1 SS spoiler.

i want to do something with the grill but I seen tons of those ones selling on ebay and it just looks to tacky ...idk maybe its just me, I rather not keep it looking like how it does

Hey! Glad to see you made it over to PC.com! Are those 077's you have now? Are they chrome or polished? I really like the hood, but Im not a real fan of the side stripes, I think it would be really hard to make it look good, not saying its not possible, but it wouldn't be easy.

I like the concept. Ever consider blacked out side and front signal lights also? It would go well with all the black, although the clear goes well with the wheels.

Yea the wheels I have now are 077 and they are polished


I photoshopped the black turn signals and side markers and the green and black..IDK looked a little odd to me..like in order for it to look good IMO the car needed more black..

So most likely I will keep it just the clear, clear corners to go with the wheels.

you have the eagles? I love those wheels. Those were the wheels I originally wanted.

Im still working onthe interior.. All I have to do is basically swap colors.. I was going with a green/silver look but since I plan on doing all of this black/green updating to work on

Came off of a 96 Camaro :) ..... Guy I bought it from had his camaro totaled and the rear piece was shattered,poof, gone ...

So I bought it from him... $75 for all 3 pieces :)... now I need to get me a rear piece




Seen a local add and couldnt pass this up so I answered right away! Im so happy haha

They wont be going on any time soon..not untill I get the hood, rear peace, and spoiler...

just thought I would ask so I will be ready

really strong double sided tape and screws... You should be able to tell where the screws go.

I put mine on 3 times before I finally got them right and stayed on. I cant stress enough get the strongest double sided tape you can. I recommned not getting all the **** with the foam either.. it looks weird and sticks out too much.

so for the tape I should just hit every other few inches with it?

does it take any certian kind of screws? I want this to be as perfect as possible.. rather learn everyone elses mistakes they made and hear the correct way so I dont screw nothing up lol

The tape runs the entire length of the GFX not just parts of it.

I used self tapping screws to help hold mine on.

yeah i ran tape all along them... front and rear pieces are cake. The sides were the bane of my exsistance.

ok cool...what strong double sided tape would you guys suggest?

I plan on sanding the side ones down because they are pretty scratched up..the front one is fine..

what grit should I use?
