Painting the calipers
Im gunna paint my calipers as soon as I get the time, what color do you guys think I should go with?
|
It all depends on what you want.. Since your car is white you can go with many colors.. Red and black will be your most common colors..

red

if you hvae anything else red on your car, then red. if not, then black.
|
You want to keep a one color accent theme like paarman said. If you have some red accents already, red would be your choice for calipers. If you have pictures of your car you can post, that might help us guide you better. Black would look good and polished takes a lot of work but looks killer if done correctly.

are you getting them powder coated or just going to mask everything off and spray them yourself......are you rotors stock....i think red with new rotors is sick but black with old rotors look more agressive IMO, but also would look jsut as agressive with new rotors
so i say black i love how it looks |

Theres some pictures, most of them are on page 2. I wanted to go either black or red, not polished, not up for that much upkeep. I dont have any red accents, yet, im thinking STB b4 too long. I like the idea of red but havent seen it on a white car b4 only on a black car. As for how, these were the instructions I was going to use, other than I will sand the casting marks, and probobly buy a calliper paint kit instead of just any ol high temp paint.... http://www.ls1howto.com/index.php?article=15 |

Will I even notice a difference if they are painted black?
|
maybe, red would stand out so do as you choose
|
I think red is way to gaudy but thats just me... Its like having chrome tail lights, it just sticks out like hell, and doesnt match anything.
