Painting my car.

Anybody have a list or idea of the parts needed to paint my car, like which guns for primer, base, clear. And a decent type of compressor?

you need a big compressor, the standard ones won't cut it. Spraying primer can be done with a cheap paint gun, do not use the same gun for primer as for paint unless you like a ruined paint job. I use an old style syphon feed that runs about $30, for the color I use a devilbis gravity feed, you can get the finish line for around $100, if your doing body work you need a da, don't go cheap they break too much I prefer hutchins or ingersall rand, sand paper grits vary on amount of work being done, I keep 80 grit up to 2000 grit on hand (80 for getting ready for filler nothing else) I sand primer with 320 and then go to 400, then do the whole car with 600 grit. Once painted let it dry for a week or 2 wet sand with 1500 grit let sit for another week then wet sand with 2000 grit, then start polishing, do not wax for at least 3 months.
