Is this possible?

Is it at all possible to turn my stock hood into cowl induction hood or just something that looks like cowl induction!? without breakin my bank account

Adric 07-11-2006 01:10 AM

tape cardboard to it

BlackOnBlue93 07-11-2006 01:14 AM

lol yea that would be weather resistant as hell....can u say rain?

camaro94 07-11-2006 01:27 AM

not really. It would be cheaper and easier to just buy a cowl hood.

2000v6cam 07-11-2006 04:03 AM

they have the actual cowl part of the hood that u can attach but it seems like more work than its worth especially if u want it to look decent, i would just buy a cowl hood

check out http://www.vfnfiberglass.com, they sell the cowl part that you can attach to your hood.

VFN or you can go dirt cheap and get some LUND ones

blue89vert 07-11-2006 12:38 PM

go to jegs.com they have some cowls the are i think bolt or weld on. u just cut ure old hood up

camaro94 07-11-2006 12:42 PM

for the cost (to me) of getting the ones that attach on and making it look right, it would be better to get the full hood. Unless of course, the detachable cowl is needed like it is for some special cars. ;)
