try checking out hor rod or car craft's websites they did some paint article's in their mags a while back . They might have it posted on their websites now.

You probably will need various grits of sand paper (40 80 150 240 320 600 800 1000 1500) for sanding and wet sanding the old paint, primer and clear.

Some body/fiberglass filler , sheet metal, possibly a sand blaster and various tools (dent pullers , sanders, hand tools and body hammers ect.) for repairs if your car needs any body work.

Paint , primer epoxy primer/sealer and clear for painting the car.

There is probly a lot more that you need as well but thats all I an think of at the moment.

Oh yeah you might want to fix all the imperfections before you sand the car down cuz it is a lot easier to see them now , get the car smooth as possible then start sanding the car down. Use long sanding blocks ( can be air powered if you want to save time) where you can on the bigger areas, use long even strokes , use your hands to check to see if everything is smooth every now and then. try not to concentrate on one spot when you are hand sanding . Hopefully that helps out a bit . I am no expert tho so do as much reseach as possible . Hope that helps.
