i was looking to find a decent radar detector but dont know much about them..is there any thing i should look for in one? i dont really want to spend much over $200 Circuit city has a cobra somthing for like $150 that i thought would be a good deal is there a better place to look for them?

I will sell you the best one on the market for about $100 more than the cobra (rated one of the worst on the market) checkout http://www.radarbusters.com/radar-detector-info.cfm lots of good info, then check with me and I'll see what I can do on prices

I have a cobra and I like it. Never had any issues with it yet.

but how sensitive is it? That is the issue with detectors is the lower end ones don't go off until the blue lights are already on

Mine has always gone off a fair amount ahead of time. I had mine go off 2 miles away from a radar around here.

I think I have this one: http://www.cobra.com/index.php?page=...ct_id=446&id=1

I dunno, I havent been dissapointed with it at all, its worked like a charm.
