Removeing Nightshade?

So my friend is a real dumbass. And he added nightshade to his taillight's on his camaro. And he used a whole can. Now you can not even realy see his taillight light up when you hit the brake... So i am see if anyone know's what would work to take it off... He needs all of it off so he can use nightshade agine. But he is only useing like 2 to 3 coats... So if anyone know's post it here.

Thanks
Noir.

2000 grit + wetsand. Thats about the only thing I could think of that will take that off.
