Anyone know if 285's will fit on the back of a 96 camaro without rubbing?

they will but your gonna need wider than stock wheels if you dont already have them. other than that they will be fine. BTW ive never looked but if you have 9.5" wide wheels which are prolly gonna be 17s just go with 275-40-17s. they are way cheaper. little more info tho...

I just got some 18's, they are 10 inches wide in the back. My original plan was to go as wide as I could. I think 295's were the largest that would fit on the rim. Anyway, there was a killer deal on Toyo Proxes T1-R's on Ebay so I played it safe and got the 275/35's cause I knew there were people with those on their camaros, so I knew for sure they would fit. I just had never seen anyone with 285's on their car so I was curious.

o. yep yep. you coulda gone with 295s with the 18s but either way it will look sweet and should not have any problems with rubbing.
