Shan...what do you wanna do with your sheets?

shan 10-12-2008 01:34 AM

i'll be putting them on my tail light

Fresh_Prince 10-12-2008 05:17 PM

haha same...once again im not sure if it got the correct piece it looks a lil thinner then i tought
but it worked okay on the tailights of my windstar..you could see a lil faded amber
however it looked perfect on my pathfinder

shan 10-12-2008 06:14 PM

cool...let me know when you get yours done and from where....i'll be getting my done in a week or so or maybe i'll try it my self

Fresh_Prince 10-12-2008 06:37 PM

im trying it to do it myself..the only problem i got is finding a power source of a heat gun
i live in a town house so the parking lot is further down

shan 10-12-2008 07:15 PM

i been told its better to use a hairdryer then heat gun since heat gun can melt the light so be carefull and ensure you have extra set of hands helping you...

where u located if you don't mind me asking?

Fresh_Prince 10-12-2008 08:08 PM

why not find some spray on red tint? you kno how you can get the night shade stuff which blacks out the lights, im pretty sure they have something similar in different colors.

darkevilsta 10-14-2008 03:50 PM

thats what i was thinking too judgez. cuz then u can just take it inside ur house and paint it. and there saying this winter is going to be really cold so maybe the tint could come off too. plus its a lot easier since u dont have to worry about leaving bubbles

shan 10-14-2008 06:16 PM

only downside of the paint would be if you do't like the look you can't undo it...

darkevilsta 10-15-2008 04:07 PM

well thats not entirely true i think. cuz when ur sanding the thing down, most of the paint is going to come off. plus, u can always paint it black cuz its darker. if u have that problem then get paint that doesnt come off on its own, but then if u put rubbing alcohol or something on it then it comes off like butter

judgez24 10-15-2008 04:19 PM

why not get the red spray tint and then some automotive clear coat. it stands up to extreme temps, should be fine on lights like that.
