What would you do?

Ok this has bugging the heck of me ever since I have been looking at rims. I want to go with bigger rims but that would mean replacing both rims and tires. The tires on my 17's have a few thousand on them so their still in great condition. I can't decide if I want to go with bigger rims with tires or just go with 17's and use my existing tires? Any ideas?

BTW what do you think of having mismatched rim sizes, like 18's in the front and 19's in the back.

i say 17's on a slightly lowered f-body look great. you CAN go 18s but its not worth it considering how good 17s still look, and you dont need new tires that will proly be at least 500 bucks. 19s are an absolute NO. all just my opinion. good luck tho.

Just wait till you need new tires, then decide.

I like the look of the mismatch, but it would make rotating them a bit of a ***** ;). I like to burn out with my car, so I need new tires every two years lol. Another option is to lower the front and raise the rear. Gives the same effect, and you can keep the 17's. I was thinking of doing that. But I want to get 18's for mine. I also say no to 19's. 18 is the limit for me.

go with 17's and save a couple bucks, the mismatched sizes works on some cars, but on most looks stupid, the rear of the car should not sit higher than teh front, the 70's are over

I'd save the money and get some 17's. On an FBody 17's and some 18's look best.

Try and see what you could get for the tires in the condition they're in now, sell the tires and rims seperate, and get new bigger wheels and tires. Just a thought.

stick with 17s

My opinion would be to buy 18's after the 17" tires wear out. I have seen a black Camaro with 18's on the front and 19's on the back. It looked sick. Like said before though, rotating tires would be impossible.
