Wheel Cleaner
Aparently my whels are stained or something. I have used spray foam wheel cleaner, a meguiars wheel cleaner (dont remember what the name is, but it did leave spots in my driveway) and good old fashioned elbow grease but nothing is getting these wheels clean.
Is there a miracle product out there for making old stock wheels look new and clean? I don't wanna run out and buy new wheels plus I actually like the stock wheels. |
I take it they are not chrome?
Try some type of de-greaser on it with a brake dust brush or a mr cleans magic eraser. I usually put a coat of wax on my wheels whenever I am doing the rest of the car. It does help out on keeping brake dust and such from sticking to your wheels. If all else fails use a brilo pad like you use to clean dishes with, I have used it on wheels with no damage and they get the job done. |
If you havent kept up on cleaning them its going to be hard to clean them.. I always use meguiars products they work the best for me. They cleand my old stockers pretty good, but Ive made sure to keep up on the new rims so they dont stain.

mcguires hot wheels....works great..they make it for "all Wheels" and "chrome"
|
i use meguires and it usually works pretty good so id try that
|
Yep Meguires hot wheels... Comes in a purple bottle. Works very well, and if you can't get the dust off with your brush, try swiping it off with your fingers.
|
Yeah I also use a brush forgot to mention that. But hot wheels is the way to go.. Just dont have open cuts on your fingers, because jesus christ that stuff is like acid once it gets into a wound.
