FS: OEM SS Hood
 

Just like it says, factory SS hood, black with silver vinyl scoop.

The paint has the usual swirl marks and rock chips, but nothing major. A good buff job and it will look brand new again.

$500 if you want to pick it up. I don't think I want to mess with shipping.

what are you replacing it with?

The VFN Sunoco cowl hood (haven't decided if I want the one with the line or not yet).

I'm hoping to get in on the GP on LS1Tech.....depends on if I can sell this hood though.

Get the one with the line down the middle.. Because it looks dumb without it.. Because theres a line on the front bumper and it looks dumb when it just stops when it gets to the hood.. But thats the same hood that I am going to get, but most def with the line..

yours was one of the few cars that I actually liked the SS hood on. Good luck with the sale.

When people ask, I usually just say its a Z28 anyway....too much trouble to explain the whole engine swap thing, especially since I didn't do the swap myself.....

I'd do the same thing, let's be honest the only difference is the drivetrain.

I've been considering of late putting Z28 emblems on (this guy on LS1Tech makes some sweet looking ones).

Think that would be inappropriate?

No I personally think that would be fine. Honestly what's different between your Camaro and a Camaro Z28? All I can really think of is the VIN and the fact your's has more power and better looks.

They are very nice emblems, I would love it if I could get one with LT1 Powered written at the bottom.

Maybe you should ask Steve over at subthump.com if he could make you some black mirror Z28 badges.. Because it would still keep the "sleeper" look, but yet show people that you have the Z28...

He makes them where instead of the Annihilator text, it says 5.7 LT1 or LS1, they look sweet.

I still don't have a digital camera, my fiance has one, she just forgets to bring it over here......you still thinking about those CME pieces?

Yea, I bought mirror emblems for the rear of my car and they look really neat.. He also sells black ones, which I think on on the right car they could look really neat..They are just like a mirror but tinted black.. So they are really reflective..

I'm really wanting a new VFN Sunoco style hood, which is why the SS hood is up for sale....and I am not even trying that hard to sell it yet. I just figured I would offer it to PC.com folks first. If you manage to sell your hood to Chad or someone else, then feel free to buy mine. :D
