I've got a Motive/GM 3.73 Gear Set for the 10 bolt up for sale. They are brand new in box, haven't been in a car. The reason for selling is that this is for a 3-series carrier, and my car is a 2-series carrier, thus, i ordered the wrong gears, and found the other gears locally. They are brand new, I purchased them from Speed Inc. on 7-27 of this year for $189.99. They will be shipped via UPS from Arkansas, or I will sell them locally. I will gladly get a shipping quote for anyone who wants one, or if anyone wants more pictures, just let me know.

Odds are you have 3 series, to my knowledge 2 series was only on the 2:73 rear end when it came to the F-Body.

Check your door sticker for the code for a 3 or 2 series code. I'll post the codes in a minute when I find them.

GU2 Axle, Rear 2.73 Ratio
GU4 Axle, Rear 3.08 Ratio
GU5 Axle, Rear 3.23 Ratio
GU6 Axle, Rear 3.42 Ratio

Most A4 V8 F-Bodys came stock with the 2.73 gears correct? Thats how you know its a 2 carrier. As the V6 comes with 3.08 or 3.42(y87 or rs package) which is a 3 series carrier. Correct?

I think it just matters for the 2-series, which would be 2.73's, then the rest are all 3-series, which would be 3.42's, 3.73's, etc., and if you had a 2-series gear carrier, you need special "thick" gears.

if you have 2.73's, your a 2 series carrier, anything else, and it's a 3 series carrier.
