$650 Ford Escort 1997...Some Issues
4 Attachment(s)
For the price, there exists the good and the not so good...Not to waste time, to start I will list the not so good...
The Not So Good: :thumbsdow -cracked front window -hole in exhaust gives noise -slightly hit from behind in tail light area (nothing drastic) -would likely need tie rod ends replaced -262,000kM (however, engine runs PERFECTLY, not a drop of oil, and these engines are known for their longevity) The Good:  -very cheap on gas 5 Speed Manual -very cheap to insure and maintain -recently rebuilty transmission -new starter -sparkplugs newer -no rust -brakes recently done -nice interior -airconditioning and power windows -new clutch -new radiator -new timing belt and waterpump -newer muffler -reciepts -oil changed religiously -any other things I cannot think of currently All in all, this car could last many more years. It is reliable, it drives well, and will get you from point A to point B all the way to point Z. By way of comparison, on Autotrader, the average cost for a 1997 Escort is in $2000+ dollar range.
