I have some debts to pay off and the time has come for me to sell my car. I am asking for $7000 (negotiable) so I can still afford something after that will get me to and from work as well as, to school. I have invested a lot of time and money into my 95 civic. However, my intentions for the car were quite different than most, I focused my time and money on improving the "performance" and "handling" characteristics of the car unlike many who focus on just making "the car" look pretty! =)
My desire for focus on improving the "performance" and "handling" of the car stemmed from my ambition to have a car that could be successful on the track circuit as well as, trap decent times at the 1/4 mile track. In saying this, my car definitely fits into a "niche" market all on its own. The car weighs 2200lbs (stock weight) and produces 246whp and 208trq, this car is literally "stupid" fast, and I would highly advise the next owner of my car to strictly keep this car off the road and on the track where it belongs . The turbo spools up very quickly and makes 13 psi at 3500rpms. The power to weight ratio is ideal, and with a set of high performance summer tires you can literally plant your foot to the floor and have no traction issues on dry pavement. It is truly a dream to drive and very easy. |
The car has been Krown rust proofed every year by me and the previous owner.

To replicate this build. you are looking to invest at least $8,000 most likely more, (not including the cost of the car) depending on which suppliers you source your parts from and if you do the work your self etc..
This is not a junk build, all of the parts are quality assured and with the current power levels and the preciseness of the tune, the engine will last well over 80,000km's of driving before any major engine components will require replacing. |
For those of you that might be concerned about MPG..this car gets 32mpg (400kms per 35 litres of gas) I normally fill up when I am just below a quarter tank to avoid dirt clogging my injectors. I also never boost my car when I am below a quarter of a tank. I have owned a turbo car before, and I know how to maintain them... And this is boosting several times during my drives to and from my destination.
