He's going to use some of the money to supercharge his S2000 and then use the rest as downpayment on a new car for his wife.

A lot of times yes. My brother was very careful about this and his car has had a total of zero problems. He takes very good care of it, it's never been to the track, he never did hard launches with it, or abused it in any way.

I was just talking to him and now there's talk of getting rid of the S2000 and getting a Viper GTS instead. I honestly don't think he'll go through with it because he loves the S2000 but we'll see.
