So why are there no airbags? Was the car in a wreck and fixed outside of insurance?

Car was in an accident in may 2002, we bought it back from the insurance and didn't fix the air bags at the time and left it for a later date then air bags were banned from being shipped across the border in 2003(air bags are much cheaper in the states you can get a set for under $300) and now its simply not worth it for me to finish it off.

It has a clean title, and compared to other 300ms with damage,no air bags and more mileage they go from 7-8k at the TAA.

Its a good daily driver.
