'95 Ford Contour - Zetec 5spd $1200!
 

I have a 1995 Ford Contour GL sedan for sale. It has a 2.0L 16V Zetec engine (same as Ford Focus) and 5 speed.

The car is green on grey cloth,body is in good shape,interior is good. The car has been stored since November,but ran fantastic last time I drove it.

It has 264 985km on it,and runs like a champ. I have a set of brand new tires on it,on alloy rims from a Contour SE,and also have some extras,like SE side skirts,a billet fuel door and SVT brake calipers and KVR brake pads to throw in with it,as well as a Ractive exhaust and filter. I used to have an identical Contour with a V6,but scrapped it,and took all those parts off of it to throw in with this car.

For safety,the car need a new CV shaft on the driver's side,and needs a new muffler (which I have). That is all I know that it needs. it won't cost much to get it on the road.

Interior and engine bay. This is a fantastic,practical,reliable and cheap car to run. I don't want to part with it,but I have my truck and can't afford 2 vehicles.

I had the same vehicle, and have now upgraded to a v6 model, i can say that this car is so damn reliable and the engine runs basically untill you take a sledge hammer to it, i would buy it if i didnt already have a contour :smilie_da , Ez.

yeah man,I just had a '95 V6 5 spd for the last year,and although it was the most unreliable,most difficult to work on,biggest POS I've ever owned,it was pretty quick and fun to drive. I used to have a Mystique with a Zetec and automatic and that sucked,but the Zetec on a stick is fast! A Zetec MTX is supposedly as fast as a Duratec ATX. This thing has 264 000km and runs mint. I bought my V6 with 260 000km and scrapped it with 300 890km on the clock. Engine ran fine,but I went through 2 trannies in it and got to the point I didn't want to fix it anymore. I ended up buying a Mazda pickup,so I've got no need for this Contour anymore. Infact,I actually just bought it,drove it for like 2 weeks and then stored it for the winter and drove it for the first time in 5 months today.
