97 turbocharged z24
trying to sell this in hopes of getting a huge downpayment for the mazdaspeed 6 that ive managed to fall in love with.
car has a built motor care of jbp t304b turbo with log manifold 10 psi internal wastegate that i have to install still 84# injectors that are in a box 3 inch mandrel stainless exhaust with 2.5 inch down pipe, 40 series flowmaster muffler 2.5 inch charge pipes kyb agx struts apex springs front tie bar rear sway bar front and rear strut bars hankook z212 tires, approx 2500 km of driving, 225/50/16 mounter on black beretta gtz wheels apexi safc blitzz electronic boost controler there are also credits purchased through a friend of mine for hp tuners so all your doing is paying him to tune the car which it needs, hes very good and his price is fantastic toms motorsports racing seats in black b&m short throw shifter brand new just installed energy suspension urethane bushings in the control arms msd dis 2 installed brand new ati fmu mcculloch hid's car has a set of older 4 point belts but ive got a set of 5 points in a box that ill include with this car has some sort of mp3 deck with monsoon speakers oem style cf hood thats only got a few weeks of use and isnt even mounted on the car yet hawk hp + pads in the front on stopit performance brand rotors bendix high end drums and shoes. im including a brand new set of front and rear steel braided brake lines aswell also i have the neon disc conversiion for the rear, you need some misc pieces but i have the calipers and the brackets are machined already body has roughly 230 k on it, every suspension bit is top of the line moog, ball joints wheel bearings inner and outer tie rods anything that moves is newer and is the best stuff moog carries. car comes with an electronic fuel pressure guage from autometer, a boost guage, a volt meter, and a wideband from innovative motorsports everythign is installed already. all the car needs right now is a tranny and a battery. i had a line on a tranny today but it wasnt the right year so ill find one or ill sell it without. also ive modified the isuzu shift cable bracket to work on the nvg tranny. its a much better design as the nvg bracket is a bitch to make work withthe 3rd gen j cables. the car is mechanically sound, the motor has roughly 8400 invested into it and has approx 5000 km of driving. also the car has a spec stage 4 clutch that has about 3500 km of use but itll need a new tob as this one makes noise. all of this will be replaced if i can find the time and find the tranny which at this time is out of the car. im asking $8500 for the car the way it sits and im a little leanient with that as the car does need a few things. his car has potential to be a demon, the fuel system is more than capable, oh i forgot to mention the car also has a walbro intank 255 lph pump. im sure theres alot im missing about this car as there is alot of time and money invested into it. im crazy for selling the car but if it goes i pick up my next vehicle and just drive it. if not then ill finish this and enjoy it. this isnt a sympathathy sale or a sale because im mad at anything. id just like something new with warranty that has some creature comforts, heated seats, ac, leather, etc. the underside of the car is very clean and has no rust. theres on spot of rust on the body and thats where water was trapped behind the moulding on the pass side quarter panel. its been stripped and temporarly covered to keep it from ing so thatll need paint. email me for pics and if you wanna see the car in person. turbocav@hotmail.com |

the motor in it is capable of about 600 hp, give you a quick run down onthe motor
stage 4 race port and polish ss valve stiffer springs 3 angle valve job cometic head gasket arp everything weisco 8.5:1 comp pistons eagle h beam rods clevite 77 main and rod bearings heat treated and knife edged crank balance and blue printed high volume oil pump oil journals have been opened up to increase oil flow some other misc things here and there but its done tranny actually lot first gear. i baught it used and since day 1 ihad a grind going into first gear at low speeds and then one nite after rosating a guy in an 02 stle m3 on the hiway a couple times i get off in hamilton and cant get into first gear, so who knows why it went but first gear along with the syncro took a . and this was at about 9 psi with no tuning at all, that turbo isnt even fun at 9 psi, 18 psi which it saw this year is where the fun starts. also ive just baught another vehicle, an 01 2dr fully loaded explorer, black on grey leather etc etc. so ill give the car a week adn then take it off the board, if it sells im buying a sports bike, if it doesnt then i keep it and do some 4 wheel street raping this year. :) |
and im looking to take 8500 for the car, which is a steal because ive got over 20g into the car not inclding what a paid for it. lol **** me for wasteing money, and that number is probably closer to 25 or even more as i put almost 15 into it over a 10 month span

dunno, i built this motor last year and havent tested it yet. if i keep the car itll get tuned for 25 psi and that should bring it just over the 400 whp mark, gonna see how far i can push this turbo ubt the guy who built it for me is confident itll support 400 hp so who knows.

Passats are luxury sedans, which are not necessarily meant to go fast. They can be tuned to go faster than any Cavalier though, both 1.8T and V6. Even the W8 is slow stock, but can be made into a drag racing monster. It is just that tuning a European engine is harder and more costly than tuning a domestic engine. I don't know if he wants a nice, smooth, silent luxury import, so that is why I offered him a trade. I am a young student and I have great appreciation for domestics (especially Trans Ams and Stangs), so I want a turbocharged four-banger that I can drive fast and get acceptable gas mileage with. My friend also has a domestic shop, so I can play a lot with this Cavy. Anyway, let me know. BUMP.
