FS: 1949 Chevrolet Fleetline 2dr ROD
Selling the fleetline. It needs LOTS of work, but that is why it is cheap. At least it runs, moves, stops under its own power.
It has rust...lots of rust. Floors are pooched. Drivers door has a big ol dent in it, frame has seen better days, quarters need work, etc.... Already converted to 12v and 2.8L V6 power with an automatic trans. Beefy 56' olds rear axle with mid 3 gears, and what looks like new brakes. All the lines, S10 master cylinder, pedal assembly look pretty new. Electric fuel pump, "fuel cell" and all new fuel lines. It also has been coverted to an open driveline. It actually runs pretty damn good. I have a good title for it. I got the car exactly how it is in trade now am looking at a car that needs a LOT less work. Lower it and fix the rust and its instant sweetness in an economical driver. $500 and take it away. Pics will be up later tonight. |

oh aslo where are you located? and how is the interior and chrome? Interior is beat, chrome is there but it all needs work. The car is rough and rusty. Here are some pics of the car from last year. |
Just to clarify. This is not a car:
A) You can drive home B) You can put a weekends worth of work into and get it on the road C) You Can spend a few hundred dollars on and get it to safety D) You should have if you do not have experience fixing up old cars. This is a major project car. It needs a lot of work. That is why it is cheap. |
