FS: 1996 EK Civic Hatchback - Cheap!

Hoping to sell off my 1996 EK Civic Hatchback. If I don't get asking price I'll just keep driving it. Need to replace the car with a minivan as it's getting tough loading the family in the 2 door.

Price: $3000 firm returned back to mostly stock
or $3500 firm as it sits modified for looks (list below)

Details:
- Black with grey interior
- KMS = ~255k KMS on body
- SI (SOHC VTEC) motor swap with 80k kms done about 20k kms ago
- EL automatic tranny swap with ~80k kms done about 20k kms ago
- Air conditioning
- rear hatch cover
- lowered HR springs (1.5" - 2.0" drop)
- stainless steel twin tips muffler (subtle 2" each)
- EL VTEC cluster with original odometer installed (has tranny lights and tachometer!)
- automatic (duh, as per newer tranny)
- 13" steelies with caps
- car sold as-is but should pass safety best I can tell
- should also pass emissions as I did last year
- new heater core in fall
- new radiator 1 month ago
- will come with 2nd set of 13" rubber

Modification / body mods (what you get for the 2nd price):
- carbon fiber hood installed + original black hood
- OEM style square foglamps
- projector head lights (slightly scraped on right side)
- strut bars (front and back)
- MSD ignition box + crane ignition + MSD dist. cap
- lowering front lip
- rear Civic TypeR wing (home painted black)

Cons (why is it so cheap):
- body has various scrapes and dents. Not too bad on black but you will notice them up close.
- auto tranny slips 1st if pushed from launch once it is hot (surprisingly only happens after it's hot not when cold. If you drive it like normal traffic it's okay, I've left it as-is for past 20k kms. Only $200-$250 swap for another one (cheap).
- SI motor may need head gasket checked. It uses about 1/2 liter of coolant ever 1000kms. ~quoted $300-$400 unless you can do yourself. Still driveable since I've been using it as-is for past 10k kms does not overheat.

Overall it's a great car but I need a minivan. Originally I was planning to repair the car and keep driving it. You can pick it up as a project for motor swap and just drive it as-is until you're ready.

Located near Pacific Mall in Scarborough/Markham
PM or email me rsharma@usa.com if interested.

NEW PICS (sorry car is dirty) -->

BONUS - Forgot some options on car
* Civic is CX model but has power door locks installed w/keyless entry
* comes with alarm system w/ remote starter
* Has OEM AM/FM stereo + DIN cassette + 6 pack CD Changer installed
* Cold air intake w/KN filter

Bump with additional pictures and BONUS options I forgot to list previously.

Bump, minivan on the way so I've got to sell the Civic off. ~260K kms as it's still daily driving.

Price: $2500 returned to stock or $3000 with all mods as it looks.
