This is a good, solid, clean, very reliable car. Great on gas (over 500km/tank). Needs nothing to certify. No modifications. Only reason I’m selling is because I want something with air con. for the summer. Makes an awesome daily driver or winter beater.

-1992 Jetta GL – Made in Germany.
-211,000km
- Stock 1.8l 8v – very strong, not burning any oil, no leaks.
-Synthetic motor and tranny oil used.
-5spd manual with new NEUSPEED short shifter kit with solid shifter rod (much better shift feel and shorter throws) with new shifter bushings.
-Tornado red (original paint).
-No a/c.
-Pioneer CD player with JVC speakers.
-Very clean interior (non-smoker).
-Very small rust spots – no holes whatsoever, no rust on floors.
-No accidents.

Extras & new parts done less than 20,000km ago:
-COMPLETELY new exhaust system INCLUDING new catalytic converter (OEM) done less than 10,000km ago. German muffler (not cheap Can. Tire stuff).
-New timing belt.
-New NEUSPEED 8mm sparkplug wires.
-New Beru sparkplugs.
-New battery (with 72 mo. warranty).
-New c/v shafts and boots.
-New shifter bushings – no more mushy shifting.
-New power steering belt.
-New alternator belt.
-New brakes – front pads, front rotors, rear shoes.
-New brake booster.
-New rear brake cables.
-Brakes bled w/new fluid.
-New distributor cap.
-New heater resistor.
-New air filter.
-Coolant flushed.

Car does not need any work.
