Selling 93 civic hatchback cx
 

hi guys i am selling my 93 civic cx hatchback.. i have spended around $5000 fixing the car up and now i have to sell it because i don't have anymore money for school. The car is a 5spd, not very fast(stock civic cx motor) but very good on gas and reliable. Is in good shape but have a little bit of rust on the driver door rocker panel and the back hatch(see pictures). I am the 2nd owner of this car and have drove it for about 1 year when i bought it at 165K. Anyways here is the specs:

Car: 93 civic cx hatchback (red)
KMs: 173XXX (all original on cx motor)

About the car: (i have kept all the receipts on what i done to the car)
Transmission:
-new clutch disc, presure plate and release bearing assembly(clutch has 20k warranty for 1 year)
-new linkage bushing kit
-sended out the flywheel for machining
-transmission fluid changed
-right front cv shaft and left cv shafts are new

Engine (see pics)
-173k on motor
-new starter,
-timing belt is running good
-battery is new
-alternator is new
-recently done tune up in august (oil changed, everything checked)

About the car:
-service was done in jan 2005(brakes, belts, lights, tires, ball joints etc. were all checked and are good)
-recently installed new bushings, and done alignment for the car, new right rear control arm (sept)
-installed a aftermarket muffler
-installed a new rpm guage (so i can see my revs)
-new hood
-new alarm system
-new jvc cd player with aftermarket speakers (jvc) i think i still have the receipts from futureshop
-tires are still good
-new passenger side window (the plastic holding the window on the old one broke so i had to buy a new one.. from honda not aftermarket)
-new right rear control arm (the old one was bent when i first bought the car so i replaced it with a new one from honda)
-car was certified last year in december when i bought it at 165K it is now 173k and passed emission this year

Pros:
-very good on gas.. (only 30L gas tank with a 1.5L stock engine)
-very reliable
-lots of new parts, some still have warranty
-there is nothing wrong with the car after its all fixed up (i have all the receipts to proof) mechanic says all it needs is new springs because the stock springs are wearing out.) i have brand new coilovers that i wanted to put on after the winter and i'll give them to you for free)
-good reliable car for those that are not looking for speed.. jus a car that's good on gas to get u from point a to point b
-everything in the car works fine
-for a 2 door car its good on insurance.. i am paying $1200 a year under my parents name as a occasional driver ( i am 20 yrs old )

Cons:
-the car is not fast (well its a stock civic cx motor can't expect much)
-has two very small rust spots (see pic)
-no air conditioning
-no power steering
-the 1st owner has been in a small accident with the car, (he backed up into a rock on the floor and slightly bented his right rear control arm) but i bought it and spended like $5000 bucks and fixed "everything". I am willing to let a mechanic inspect it if u guys don't believe me. It runs perfectly fine now that i am broke and have to sell it.. :(

that's about all i can say about the car. Nothing is needed to certify (it passed certify last year when i bought it and it passed emissions this year. )I am asking for $4200 obo for the car.. price is negotiable. If anyone is looking for a car that is good on gas and reliable that can get u from point a to point b please lemme know. the car is located in markham, toronto. Thanks
