1973 Firebird
What do you guys think of this car? My friend wants to buy it and do a mild resoration on it this summer. He called the seller and the car is in mechanically sound condition except no power steering pump. So yeah what do you guys think? decent buy?

Yea I would get it, I love that body style.
so other than power steering needing a new pump which is not the most painful thing to do. you guys think it's a solid car to buy?
Seems solid but you can never tell for sure until you check it out. He needs to stop by and spend some time going through the entire car.
wow thats a nice car id buy it if i lived near there
I love the split bumper years... Classic car!
well sadly neither of us live close to it. Sounds like his dad found two 1966 Mustangs they are going to restore instead. thanks for the help though guys

Looks good to me! a new paintjobb and a sett of rims and it looks realy good!
I can tell you from what I've seen of 2nd gen prices that seems like a nice deal. The prices of 2nd gens is nuts lately. My best friend bought a 77' for around that price and it's the biggest roach I've seen since my Cutlass. If it's pretty solid should be a good buy. Gotta check the floors and rear wheel wells and openings. That's where they rust alot.

i love the way that car looks id check it out
scares me that it's in primer (at least looks it) price is a touch high for a '73 bird (later ones bring more due to the Bandit movies)
Looks decent to me, I'd like to see better pics or better, it in person. I almost got a 77 T/A with a parts car for $1200. Had the 6.6 and was in surprisingly good shape. Unfortunately, my Z28 called my bank account and said "Sorry but I cleaned you out."
