1980 Z/28 Police Camaro
 

My friend told me about a car located in a barn here in Sweden, he told me that it was a 1 owner Camaro Z28. Built as a Police car but never driven as one. He knew about this car since it was a friend of his dad who owns the car.


The car exterior and interior shows how much this car have been used.. Nothing, looks like brand new. But the chassis shows how it has been threatened the past years. The car have been standing outside with a car cover on it, but nothing underneath it, which resulted in allot of rust underneath, but only skin deep. But my friend moved it 2 years ago to a military storage where the car does not suffer as much.

Underneath the hood we found a L82 Corvette engine, no ac and a TH350 behind which shifts perfect, it was delivered from the factory with it, as well as stiff suspension with good traction.

I'ts quite nice, but there is a problem with the chassis.. it's called rust. =P Not that big issue because the rust have not penetrated the steel but there is allot of surface rust.

It sure is! But never driven as one or painted as one. Built in Canada with Km/h gauges.
The guy that owns it works att GM in canada.

It was made as a police car but the car was never delivered in some way. ;)
Its pretty fast, the fun thing is that it works as if it was brand new... but then it only have 60000km on the oddometer;)
