3.73 or 3.90s?
i want to throw a gear in my 95 Z and i was wondering which gear to throw in, i was thinkin either a 3.73 or 3.90. I want my car to be quick but yet it is still my daily driver. So far i have just put a 150 wet shot on it. Oh, and where should i purchase the gear cause i dont know really that much about them, i just plan to have a mechanic put it on for me.

if it's a daily driver I would go more towards the 3.73, you can call a gear company and they will tell you the ideal ratio for what you want to do.I was hoping to find something with a selection chart, and got a site that said 2 t/a's (second gen) both with 400's and auto's one was a 4 barrel h.o. the other wasn't with 4.11's the 2 barrel got faster, the 4 barrel got slower since the hp peak was moved to 55 mph

Since it's an auto I'd go with 3.73's no doubt

Don't forget the 3:73's are a 3 series carrier while the 2:73's are a 2 series carrier so it is not going to be just a swap of gears.
