is it a good running motor? If it needs rebuilt price is high. That engine will make a decent swap, but remember you will want to change intake to carb or aftermarket fuel injection, the stock stuff won't work. What year is your car? You may have issues swapping in with teh computer running the trans

I notice your in Lakewood. A very good place for you to go is Dragon Race Engineering in Broomfield. They were very helpful to me in deciding which route I wanted to go. I also bought my block from them for much less than I seen them selling on Ebay for.

If you are going for a carb motor then I suppose it could be, but it depends how many miles are on the block and how much machine work its going to need to get back into spec.

What often starts as a steal can turn into a nightmare if the block needs a lot of work.
