4th gen console
 

Anyone have pics of a 4th gen center console in a 3rd gen?? or any help in installing it?

never seen that before if you do it that would be the first i will have seen. I think it would be pretty cool

You can swap in allmost all interior pieces from a 4th gen into a 3rd if im not mistaken.

Ive seen a pic before of it done, dunno where tho.

I know I have seen it done before I just cant remeber where I saw it. but there are a couple 4th gens at the yard here and I can get one easy.

I know it's been done a million times in second gens

Check thirdgen.org there are quite a few people there who have done it.

I cant post pics yet because I dont have enough posts, but if you check out page 5 on my cardomain I have a couple pics.

The install is tricky, but not hard....toughest part is making it look good, but take your time and it will turn out alright

here ya go - it takes some twisting and bending (even a little cutting, to get the console to mesh up with the radio pod from the previous one) ...most people get a radio pod from a firebird since they are stand-alone, and make it work. Ill admit I still dont have it looking flawless, but I plan on doing the 4th gen dash swap within the year.
