Im pretty sure you can drive it without. I know people with modded cars remove the AC. Only thing I dont know if theres somthing in place of it if it does power somthing else.. But I dont think it does. Ill wait for someone else to affirm.

Correct me if I am wrong. You can drive with out the AC pump but not with out the Belt. What i know of the same belt Run some other things as whell but i cant say what since i have not been working with that engine so far.
So if you want to remove the AC you must buy a replacment pully.

You have to get the a/c delete pulley bracket. I would be sure you want to do it when you do. I did it in my car and there are more than a few days in the summer when I wish I still had it.

If its your DD then I would say keep it- it gets awfully hot in the car sometimes sitting in traffic.

i drove a car w/o a belt before. i just had to jump start it and the only thing not working was the alternator. but yeah i drove a car w/o the belt. yea i say go with a delete pulley. easiest way around it. a lot better than deleting it completely and trying to find a belt the right size or w/e to route.

If your rotors arent wearing evenly, try deglazing or surfacing them. You get them on a brake lathe and it makes them even again. Rotors could be warped.

Drilled and slotted are basically for cooling better. The negatives Ive heard is that the drilled rotors heat and cool too fast for street use, and that they could crack... Dont know how much truth there is to that, Ive had drilled on my fronts for about a year with no issues.

glazing comes from overheating (as when you come off the interstate and ride the brakes all the way down the exit ramp) the ebay drilled rotors may or may not be worth the money, you can't tell. good drilled rotors have chamfered holes to keep cracks down, any auto parts store can get them for you also (many times for the same as you would pay on ebay before they get shipped for an arm and a leg)

summit. I got mine for 30 a piece, and theyve done me well.

I never use my AC, even in summer. I ride with my windows down all the time anyway. I can take the heat.

you just live in the land of cold. I run A/C here all year long (the humidity is worse than the heat though)

If you have a LS1 car, it has a seperate belt for the A/C compressor and DOES NOT run anything else....LT1 and Third Gen you have to get an A/C delete pulley.. Hope this helps.
