nope... maybe in the future... very nice car you have. The red/white color scheme is different. Looks good.

thanks :) ..i like yours too..everythings gotta go nicely together like that..looks bad @ss...people at the track used to think i was just running an SS with the badges taken off to fool people or something...so now i have big red "3.8L V6" badges on it so they know whats up when i kill em lol

I've been thinking about a direct port kit for my LS1 but I'm not sure if I'll go nitrous or supercharger.

Why not both.

i used to run both..it was great..personally i think you can get the same gains that a supercharger will give with other mods at half the cost..but they're a LOT of fun (not to mention they look and sound cool)..plus i could slap a powerdyne on my car in about 30 minutes..at 6 psi i didnt even use the FMU or TRC :)

I always wondered why you sold your Powerdyne. I would love to have the power all the time.

thanks. Right now I am saving for a supercharger ot turbo. Leaning to the turbo for cost reasons... Might get nitrous, but just haven't decided on that yet. I like the idea of the 3.8 badges. Makes sure they know what it is. I don't mind people kinowing I have a 6, especially when its gets alot faster. Get some more respect for knowing that power is coming from a 6 cylinder. I was thinking of getting V6 badges for my car, but instead of having it say 3.4, having it say 207 like the old Camaro's had the 350, 327, etc...something old school.

my car was running very lean..i was new to boost at this time..i couldnt figure it out..my car ran so much better on just juice than with the combo..so i got rid of it..i later figured out that it was because i was running a dry kit at the time..both power adders were using the stock injectors to supply the additional fuel needed...i should hit my goal of running consistant 12s with just the direct port kit..but if i dont..i do consider getting another powerdyne..since the direct port kit is a wet type setup the blower would be the only thing utilizing the injectors..and like i said..i ran 6 psi without even using the FMU..as long as my pumps could supply the fuel..i could run both no problem :)

Sweet ride bro! Very nice. I'm going to sound like a broken record but ever concider getting clear corners? The amber just sticks out too much IMO. But everything else is AWSOME!

Wow, a dry nitrous kit and a blower with stock injectors. The main reason I want to go the supercharger route is because you have the power everytime you lay into the throttle. Then again nitrous is good because you save on gas when you don't want it and you can always just add more.

1DangerousV6 02-28-2005 12:38 PM

having the constant power was definitely fun..it was also cool to have someone line up with me at a red light and want to play..id slowly let it rev up to 3000 - 4000 rpms before letting off and give them a nice blow off..suddenly they werent so playful anymore lol..i have too many tickets to play anymore anyway though..now i just run the juice at the track..and save on gas on the street..but i'll probably have another blower down the road sometime :)
